Working Fire

Just after 3pm today our units were alerted to a multi-tenant commercial building on fire off of Mahan Street. Engine 1-5-1 arrived first on scene to discover vehicles on fire inside of a repair shop. Ambulance 1-5-8 transported one patient to Nassau University Medical Center (NUMC) with burns and smoke inhalation. Also on scene were Engines 1-5-2 and 1-5-6, Ladders 1-5-5 and 1-5-15, Rescues 1-5-4 and 1-5-28, Ambulance 1-5-10, Fire Police 1-5-12 and 1-5-16, First Responder 1-5-80, Support Vehicle vehicles 1-5 21, 1-5-22, 1-5-23 and Assistant Chief 1-5-31.

 

The scene was turned over to Town of Babylon - Government Fire Marshals and Suffolk County Police Department Arson Squad.
